I always look forward to having a guilty pleasure over the weekend, tacos! Tacos are simply delicious. I love their fillings, and the sauce used to flavor every taco is always a challenge. It was a challenge to eat, not just because it’s spicy but because it’s filling too. Who wouldn’t want to try different tacos when you know that you’ll have an exciting time tasting the fillings of different restaurants in Dubai?
1. Senor Pico Taco Restaurant
Senor Pico taco restaurant was first opened in San Francisco in 1964 by Victor Bergeron and his best friend, William Matson Roth. Victor Bergeron took a tour of Mexico to better acquaint himself with the food and culture of that region so as to improve the quality of foods they served at the restaurant.
That tour paid off because Senor Picos still serves the best tacos on this side of the ocean after more than sixty years. Their tacos have the right ratio of animal protein to vegetables and sauces. And when that spicy sauce drips along your wrist, and you have to bend around like a contortionist, you know that is a fine taco!
The essence of Mexico is reflected in the décor as well. You will find sombreros and ponchos decorating the walls to add to the appeal and ambiance of this American Mexican taco restaurant.
Senor Pico, located on the beach, is a family-friendly restaurant where you can relax with a chilled margarita while the kids expend their excess energy and then feast on delicious tacos.

5. Tortuga Taco Restaurant
Tortuga is situated at the Mina Al Salaam Hotel in the Jumeirah Souk district. It is classed as an upscale Mexican restaurant so expect to pay slightly more than average for your tacos. But the tastes and flavors make these tacos one of my favorites, and I will return anytime for this delicious spicy fare.
A must-try at this Mexican spot is their Cancun-inspired prawn taco. With the addition of tamarind sauce and chipotle, you have the best of two worlds, slightly sweetish with a hint of heat from the chipotles.
Tortuga has seven types of tacos on their menu, one for every day of the week! They have a vegetarian option for those meat-free Mondays but voted the best is their slow-braised duck taco with tomatillo salsa.

The Claw claims to have the best Baja fish tacos this side of the Mississippi. After taking a bite, I would agree wholeheartedly! Succulent shrimp, with a mix of crunchy peppers, onions, jalapenos, and of course, to tie it all together, cheese!
If that is insufficient to tempt you, they add a smashing of homemade enchilada sauce topped with more cheese and pico de gallo, a refreshed version of the classic salsa. Has that got your mouth watering yet?

Bareburger ensures all their beef is from grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free cows. They also have an extensive vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu for those with allergies and any picky eaters.
I enjoyed their chicken tacos for a first-time visitor, with generous helpings of chicken, habaneros, and avocado, topped with their house specialty of pico de gallo and Grana Padano cheese.
When you eat at Bareburger, you can enjoy your meal guilt-free, knowing that all fare prepared is free of pesticides and preservatives. Your physique and the environment will be grateful you chose to eat at Bareburger.

When you think of Nobu, you don’t associate it with tacos, but they serve delightful and tasty tacos in Dubai. Nobu is well known for their expansive seafood dishes presented with a bit of a creative flair so that you can expect the same from their menu in Dubai.
Their fresh scallop taco served with tomato salsa is a favorite amongst many patrons. But it would help if you also tried their lobster wasabi taco or their king crab with tomato salsa and a spicy ponzu sauce. But don’t be afraid of the heat or spice in either of these tacos. They are pleasantly balanced, so you don’t feel too much of the heat.
Nobu is not your average taco restaurant. But it is undoubtedly a place you should visit at least once, for the ambiance and their great tasting food.
