GIA, the new Italian restaurant at the Dubai Mall, brings the heart and soul of Italy with a modern twist. Their menu is explicitly catered to the local’s taste with favorites including Tiramisu, Pollo Arrosto, Pizza, and Canapé.
Their food service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance and interior will bring back memories of Italy. The terrace’s atmosphere is sophisticated, enhancing the already fantastic view of the Dubai Fountain and its show every half hour.

3. Tribes
Inspired by African food from the tribal era, the menu from Tribes is influenced by the Spice Islands, France, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Arabic flavors. The food at Tribes is delicious, and the staff is friendly and gracious.
Africa is a large and diverse continent, with many tribes, many languages, and many flavors. Each tribe takes great pride in their cooking and presentation of their food. Tribes emulate this pride in every dish they serve.
With a great view of the Burj Khalifa as well as the fountain show, Tribes is located on the Second Floor of the Dubai Mall. They are open daily from 12 pm to 1 am.

4. Hurricane’s Grill
Hurricane’s Grill is a modern Australian-style steakhouse with Portuguese and South African influences. It’s a perfect place for business lunches, dinners with friends or family, or anything in between.
Additionally, this restaurant takes pride in its menu, with fresh ingredients and large portion sizes. They use a secret basting sauce that makes their steaks delicious, along with burgers, seafood, lamb, and even vegetarian dishes.

A perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Social House serves both Western and Eastern cuisines, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Originally from Indonesia, the restaurant at the Dubai Mall is managed by Alabbar Enterprises.
Social House is spacious, with massive indoor and outdoor seating areas with a modern, urban design. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, and the staff is courteous.
Not to mention, it has a breathtakingly uninterrupted view of both the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa when sitting outside.

6. Open Flame Kitchen (OFK)
Open Flame Kitchen (OFK) is an upscale restaurant focused on serving classy, globally-influenced food. Their menu has a large variety, including burgers and fries, Asian foods, seafood, and wood-fired pizzas.
As the name implies, OFK uses a flame kitchen to serve a dual purpose: cook the food and entertain guests with the “flame cooking” show. This means that you can see bursts of flames through the window as the food is cooked.
OFK is on the First Floor of the Dubai Mall with a fantastic view of the fountain and the fountain show. They are open daily from 12 pm to 12 am.

7. Hafiz Mustafa 1864
With the chain first opening in 1864, Hafiz Mustafa 1864 was created by candy-maker Hadji Ismail Hakki Bey. Hafiz Mustafa was the first place to have found and manufactured the Turkish pastry pogaca.
Now serving dishes from Baklava to Kadayif to Turkish Puddings to Turkish Delights, everything you order from Hafiz Mustafa 1864 is mouthwatering. Along with the delicious food, the staff at the restaurant are friendly and welcoming.
Located on the Lower Ground Floor, their outdoor seating faces the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa for an excellent view of the fountain show.

Based on the motto “MOF MOF,” “Minimum of Fuss Maximum of Flavor,” Carluccio’s is a relaxed, all-day dining Italian restaurant. They aim to serve authentic Italian cuisine and to provide informal but excellent service to their customers.
Carluccio’s is a great restaurant for an enjoyable meal with friends and family for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with a fantastic atmosphere.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes aims to take you back to New York City’s golden age of hip-hop and R&B music.
Between cassette tapes on the walls, and the popular hip-hop and R&B music from the ’80s and ’90s from the speakers, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes creates an atmosphere of nostalgia. At the same time, you enjoy mouthwatering craft burgers, fries, and their special milkshakes.

More than just a tea room or patisserie, Angelina symbolizes the “French way of life” with their luxurious specialty meals and pastries.
The brand of Angelina goes back to the 1900s in Paris when writers, parents, and politicians would commonly meet in tearooms. They were known for their delicious pastries and soon became the place to be, with many famous people visiting.
They began expanding internationally in 2013 to cities with a keen interest in French art and pastries. The Dubai Mall is the first Angelina location in the Middle East.
Angelina is a great place to meet up with friends and family in a romantic atmosphere. Some favorite foods and drinks from Tripadvisor reviewers include the lime and passionfruit cocktail, croissants, hot chocolate, and macarons.

The last restaurant on my list, CHOCOMELT, is a chocolate boutique and coffee shop working only with the finest Belgian cacao for a unique experience with each visit. Between crêpes, waffles, pancakes, cheesecakes, and their famous “Baby Dynamite,” your sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied after eating there.
This is perhaps not the best restaurant for you if you are trying to watch your weight, or lose a little bit of weight.
CHOCOMELT has a tradition of high-quality products and a customer-centric approach, translating into a chocolate-lovers paradise with good customer service. The restaurant is very popular with locals, so it may be busy at times.
